Mrs. Erica C. Burton

Erica C. Burton (affectionately called “Lady ’E”) is a talented, gifted, and anointed woman of God. She is a proficient administrator, astute professional, passionate leader, and powerful exhorter. She serves alongside her husband, Pastor Sterling M. Burton, III at the Richmond-based Founding City Church, Inc., (FCC) providing loving support, spiritual strength, and meticulous care in the ministry assignment of the church and the people of God.

Lady E’ serves as the church’s business administrator, Hospitality Director, and also is the executive secretary on the board of directors.

Lady E’ not only loves God with all her heart, mind, and soul; but she also loves to pour out of herself in a very unique and special way, and that is by using her culinary talents to share her heart and the heart of God with others with loving compassion.

A seasoned human resource and business analyst in corporate America for over 20 years, Lady ‘E currently is the Human Resources Benefits Specialist for the esteemed global law firm, McGuireWoods, LLP headquartered in Richmond, Virginia. Lady E’ has dedicated her professional career to traveling across the United States serving in strategic analytical and senior relationship management roles, as a Human Resource Generalist, Specialist, Senior Manager, Training Coordinator, and Auditor at Fortune 500 companies such as; The Brink’s Company, Georgia Pacific, to also include McGuireWoods, LLP.

Lady’s biblically grounded knowledge and relative life experiences allow her to share with believers and non-believers alike in profound, but practical ways, the liberating and healing power of Jesus Christ.

She graduated from the Historic Armstrong High School as a Top 10 member of the National Honors Society. Lady ‘E holds a Bachelor of Science degree cum laude in Business Administration (BSBA) with a discipline in Human Resource Management from The Sydney Lewis School of Business at Virginia Union University.

Lady ‘E and Pastor Burton have two beautiful daughters, in whom she instills the Godly principles of love, loyalty, servitude, and faithfulness.
