Serving our community.

“We are a church with hands, feet, and hearts outside of the walls serving.”

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” - Matthew 25:35-36

O.R.B.I.T Program

Henrico County Sheriff’s Office

The O.R.B.I.T. Program is available to inmates of the Henrico County Jails who are addicted to opiate-based drugs. This special program begins with a medical detoxification process that begins as soon as the individual is incarcerated. Once the Court refers the individual to the O.R.B.I.T. Program, the inmate will begin their journey of gradually regaining control over their own lives. The program offers an innovative and intensive approach to rehabilitating opioid-addicted inmates. This program is unique as it not only provides substance abuse recovery but also provides life skills through a slow, step-down approach. Overseer Burton serves as Chaplain and provides pastoral watch care, bible study, and 1-to-1 counseling to all inmates who are on the program and request spiritual support through religious services.

“COMMUNITY OUTINGS”

Every other month, we as a church family engage in supercharged community outings! This is a great time for our church community to gather in the community to experience exciting activities with those who have never had the wonderful opportunity to walk through our church doors, but definitely need to know that Christians can also have amazing fun! This is also the time we set aside to go out and share the gospel message of Jesus Christ with others in our surrounding communities!
