Why should you give?
Your generosity helps us minister the gospel of Jesus Christ to so many people at various stages in their lives. You help us to minister healing, hope, and love consistently, seeking to cause people to experience the life-changing power of Jesus Christ through our “e-church” virtually or our “in-person worship” physically. Your financial gifts also allow us to meet the differing physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of individuals and families within our communities and the church. Financial Gifts

There are three major types of financial gifts that we utilize in our service to God: Tithing, Freewill Offerings, and Special Seed Offerings. The Bible teaches us that we worship the Lord with our tithe, which is ten percent of our income contributed to the church on a regular ongoing basis. A Freewill offering is just that, it is a monetary offering of an amount that you choose outside of your tithe, given of your own free will unto God. We know that all financial blessings ultimately come from God, so the financial blessings he bestows into our stewardship truly belong to him, insomuch that, God will sometimes divinely impress upon us through our relationship with him to give or sow exponentially beyond our tithe and regular offerings in a sacrificial manner. This sacrificial offering is sometimes called a “special seed offering” or aptly put, “a sacrificial offering”. This special “Sacrifice” is a unique form of worship to God through our giving that is typically a representation of an amount that expresses abundant generosity unto the Lord and his agenda, and can sometimes be spiritually challenging for the sower. This challenge is a good sign because we believe that it is in these moments that the Lord creates the Supernatural opportunity for the miraculous reaping of crops, bumper crops, and harvests of blessings in any season! This sacrificial offering is usually an offering that is consecrated, (meaning; having been made or declared sacred) and is oftentimes specifically attached to a spiritual request or need by faith. This offering should provoke you to “sacrifice”, which is simply to set aside and even forego normal purchases and spending so that you can give in a special way, in this special offering.

Financial Accountability

Founding City Church is committed to administering and stewarding its finances with God-consciousness, integrity, accountability, and generosity to make the greatest possible impact in the Kingdom of God.  The board of directors meets regularly to oversee, discuss, budget, and administrate the church’s finances and responsibilities. Founding City Church utilizes an outside financial advisory company for continued fiscal guidance. Membership business meetings are held annually and can be held periodically as the need arises to keep members updated.

Investment Giving & Gifts-in-kind

Founding City Church has procured an investment account for those who would like to donate appreciated stock. By giving stock, you’ll avoid capital gains taxes and the church will reap the full benefit of your gift.

Founding City Church also welcomes In-kind donations, which instead of giving money to buy needed goods and services, the goods and services themselves are given to the ministry. You can contact us to check if your potential Gift-in kind is a gift that is in line with the mission of the church.
